Napa Valley Wine Selections

These wines truly show the winemakers craft. Each component, selected for the character and nurtured from the vineyard through the art of barrel aging, are carved into separate lots during the winemaking process.

When all of the separate and distinct elements have developed their own intense personality, the winemaker starts the artful act of blending. Like working with a blank canvas; it is the winemakers chance to create a great piece of art.  A bit like songwriting or painting, the result of blending gives us a glimpse into the spirit of the artist.

Our Napa Valley Series wines express the finest collection of flavors available from Napa’s historic growing families, choreographed into perfect balance by our Winemaker, Fernando Candelario.

 

Single Vineyard Wine Selections

Wine has the unique potential to express the flavors of a specific place. Savoring a great glass of single vineyard wine is like experiencing a year in the vineyard. The soil, climate and the families that tend the vines contribute to the overall experience. 

Finding a vineyard that has all the components necessary to produce a complete wine is the ultimate goal of a vintner. Only when we are able to achieve "amplitude", the intense expression of complex varietal character in harmonious balance, will we release a varietal wine from a single vineyard.

We are fortunate to partner with some of the oldest and most prestigious grape growing families in the Napa Valley.  Fortune landed in our lap in 2009 and 2010  and presented us with some incredible single vineyard fruit.
