What an interesting time we are living in. There is
so much happening around us.
Times
such as these allow us to reflect on where we are and what we have. Now is the
time to come together, give where we can, accept when we need to, and do it
with grace. All of us at T-Vine
hope this newsletter is a ray of light which motivates, encourages, and
portrays our gratitude for all of the gifts we do have right here, right now.
The
more goodness, kindness and compassion we spread, the better our communities
will fare.
This is a time of change, to start anew and believe that
good things are on the way. It may take some patience, tolerance and time, but
a re-birth is on the horizon.
We recognize how blessed T-Vine has been. We get so many
letters of gratitude, and kind words about our wine, our work and our message.
2008 has been our best year in 16 years of business and we give so much credit
to you, our loyal customers for our being able to say this. We would like to
thank you for your support throughout the years by extending a 10% discount to
you for the month of January on all of your orders. And we want to do our part
show our gratitude and foster the spirit of giving.
We recognize that times are hard that
many of us are making sacrifices.
We think during times like these, we need wine now more than ever! Cheers!
Greg & Da T-Vine CrewT-Vine News: Wine Club: We are thrilled at the response from our recent launch of
our new wine club, as it has been met with overwhelming enthusiasm. The “T-Bone
Club” has become a great addition to our winery. We are currently accepting new
members and are looking forward to the first club release of 2009 coming out in
February. If you are interested in our wine club, please send an email to:
admin@tvinecellars.com with “wine club” in the subject area and
we will email you back with information and an application. New Staff Member & Baby on the way: There may be a new voice on the other end of the phone when you call in 2009. We have added a third employee to the T-Vine Crew. Jaime Tupper a long time friend of T-vine has come aboard to help Rachel with the sales end of the business and to take Rachel’s place while she is on maternity leave. Rachel is due in mid March and will be taking a couple
months off, to be with Baby Davies before returning to T-Vine in the late spring.
2009 RELEASES
Introducing T-Vine’s 2009 Releases. We have a great line up of 2006 vintages (and a one of the 07’s) released first to you our mailing list customers. This is a promising vintage, bigger and bolder than the past vintage. Some of these wines are going to age even better than usual. Below is a brief description of each of the wines we have available. Note: For the third year in a row we have chosen not to raise our wine prices and pass our great wines at affordable prices to you enjoy!
2006 Napa Valley Zinfandel: $32 This Zinfandel is wintery warm. Burnt sugar and spice and all things nice. Hints of cooked figs and rich earth on the nose. Lots of big fruit on the palate and a chocolate coated cherry finish. 2006 Napa Valley Merlot: $32 A Merlot to change the way you think about Merlot. Black cherry and red raspberry; brown sugar and cinnamon with a ripe, lasting finish. 2006 “Frediani Vineyard” Syrah: $35 A stand out lush, voluptuous Napa Valley
Syrah. Toffee, caramel, and stewed
fruit. A big creamy mouth feel and
a finish that just keeps on giving.
2006 Napa Valley Petite Sirah: $36 Petite it is NOT. Le grand Sirah! Expect dark chocolate, blackberry pie, and loads of lush, ripe fruit showing through a structure of wood smoke and rose petals. This wine is full of texture and depth. 2006 Napa Red “T” Blend: $45 (“Frediani” Cabernet Sauvignon and Nicholini Vineyard Primativo) This little beauty is a diamond in the rough. Already blushing notes of lilac and mint on the nose and red berries on the palate. This wine oozes with potential and would do well to cellar for 6 months to a year to allow it to reach it’s full glory. 2006 Sonoma “Monte Rosso” Cabernet Sauvignon: $55 Again the vineyard shows through and makes this cab it’s own. Aged in all French oak barrels. It boasts a deep rich color and a nose of eucalyptus and lavender stalks. It’s sweet and juicy on the palate with hints of black cherry, cassis, and currants. Long, juicy finish. 2006 Napa “Brown Vineyard” Zinfandel: $32 Not your typical California Zinfandel. Big and concentrated and bursting with cranberries and pomegrante. A higher acidity makes it a great pair with wintery dishes. Drink now…it’s ready to rock ‘n roll!RESERVE WINES: MONTE ROSSO CABERNET SAUVIGNON VERTICAL RELEASE : Vintages 2000-2002 3 bottle vertical offered at $225 or $240 in branded T-Vine logo box. 2006 NAPA VALLEY GRENACHE: $30 This fleshy, heady, very fruity wine has notes of raspberries, strawberries and red cherries, medium-long finish and is ruby red in color. No new oak was used so there are very few tannins. The Grenache is a fantastic pairing with salmon. 2005 SONOMA "MONTE ROSSO" CABERNET: $55 Ruby red in color and a big, sweet nose of licorice, black currants, cherries, and the earthyness that Monte Rosso is so well known for..This vintage is full-bodied with balanced tannins and a long, rich finish.
2006 PSYCHEDELIC ROOSTER: LATE HARVEST PETITE SIRAH BLEND 375 ml. $25 one of a kind release.
