Only through stillness can we find the essence of place or self. The essence of T-Vine is the spirit of Fernando, Rachel, Margarita, myself and our 2 winery dogs Cletus & Juniper. I cannot begin to tell you how much life and love swirl around the wine which ends up in your glass. Each bottle is infused with kindness laughter and good intentions. A few days ago I received an inspiring call from Robert Gayer who was one of the first rescue workers to enter the twin towers on 9-11. He called to thank me for a message I place on a back label of wine, which I will leave you with along with my hope that your dreams are manifested into reality. "My favorite days in life are nothing special, rather those in which I find joy in the ordinary rhythm of my existence… those in which I am simply content in my place."
2006 NAPA VALLEY GRENACHE: $30 This fleshy, heady, very fruity wine has notes of raspberries, strawberries and red cherries, medium-long finish and is ruby red in color. No new oak was used so there are very few tannins. The Grenache is a fantastic pairing with salmon. 2005 "FREDIANI VINEYARD" SYRAH: $35 Our Syrah is typically over the top in terms of color, depth and flavor. The 2005 is no exception. You can expect notes of black currant, blackberry and plum, with sweet wood and vanilla in this jammy velvety smooth Syrah. 2005 NAPA VALLEY ZINFANDEL: $32 The Nap Zin is our Jammier more typical "California style" Zinfandel. Huge fruit including blackberry, boysenberry, huckleberry, and cassis, with a hint of black pepper and cigar box. 2005 "BROWN VINEYARD" ZINFANDEL: $32 Or more worldly Zin, is a little more like an Italian style wine, Still typical of T-Vine style bursting with big, jammy fruit. Cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, and black cherry combined with a little higher acidity leave you with a full mouth-feel and a lingering finish. This is a wonderful food pairing wine. 2005 "FREDIANI" PETITE SIRAH : $36 Oh Mama. This one's HUGE, as always! Very extracted & concentrated. But with very balanced tannins, not woody or oaky at all. Notes of blackberries, and blueberries, with a vanilla bean and dark cocoa finish. 2005 NAPA VALLEY MERLOT: $32 If you don't drink Merlot, you will love this wine! Hints of dark cherry, red rose pedals nilla wafers and graham crackers leave you with deep, rich and everlasting finish. 2005 "T" NAPA RED BLEND $45 (Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah): A beautiful blend that is incredibly food friendly. The "T" is a well integrated wine that is deep, dark purple in color, and bursting with berries, both black and blue. It has a full mid palate and a long, sultry finish. 2005 SONOMA "MONTE ROSSO" CABERNET: $55 Ruby red in color and a big, sweet nose of licorice, black currants, cherries, and the earthyness that Monte Rosso is so well known for..This vintage is full-bodied with balanced tannins and a long, rich finish.
2005 PSYCHEDELIC ROOSTER PRIMITIVO: $42 Primitivo is a centuries old grape varietal that is closely related to Zinfandel. It has many of the same characteristics of Zinfandel and is known as a wine that matures early, so it's good to go now, but can also cellar as long as 20 years. We made just over 200 cases of Primitivo in 2005 and offer it through the winery only. You wont find this wine in a restaurant or wine shop. Our 2005 Pimitivo was picked from the Nicholini Vineyard in Chiles Valley, Ca. (Napa Valley appellation). This is a big, juicy fruit bomb that explodes as a zesty blend of cherries, cloves, blackberries, boysenberries and just a hint of sweet wood. 2005 PSYCHEDELIC ROOSTER PETITE SIRAH: $42 "A carnival ride- lights, clowns, candy and fire eating women". Greg Brown A luscious blend of blueberries, dark toffee with a vanilla bean finish. This wine is ready to rumble right now! Take my advice and rumble with it. Cock a doodle doooooooo!
